One gloomy evening last July. I went to an event they called students care. Initially I just wanted to share the happiness with the children but someone there it’s so "familiar" to me.
Over time I don’t know why everything has changed since I known her.
I felt something different. I knew what people said. I knew all the truth and then it hit me like a freight train. I do not even need to find that "code". A colorful swirl of memories flashed before my eyes as it is added. My jaw dropped to the floor. Needless to say, I was lost for words and utterly smitten. I couldn’t stop smiling.
It’s no secret that I’m a bit shy, so naturally "this" was the most articulate way of attempting such a sincere endeavor. How does one respond to such a personal outpouring of emotion and sentiment?
They say “timing is everything” and that brings us to now.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a rather shy boy and this is what I wanted so badly to tell you in person but could never quite put into words:
"Everything about you is beautiful. I love the way you smile the way you laugh. Do not need to be someone else because I love all the way you are. You’re an immensely charming girl with a wonderful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. Maybe today was the perfect time to write this note to you and simply say… I was enchanted to meet you."

I would feel weird if I were to communicate anything other than optimism, because it’s just who I am. It’s always been in me to make Owl City a vehicle that sends a hopeful message. As a listener, I’m drawn to things that are really uplifting. When a certain melody grabs my ear, it makes me feel like I could be a better person.
But the more I try to move on, the more I feel alone.
Happy 27th Birthday, Mr. Adam Randal Young! I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day. God bless you.
